Why Book Through dxco_derive?

Booking directly with a highly rated transporter on dxco_derive gives you the peace of mind you need. We offer highly competitive business shipping rates and superior online freight services, so you know each shipment is in great hands. Choosing dxco_derive means you get the smoothest possible experience. Skip the typical obstacles and get straight to the good stuff: an affordable, safe, smooth delivery.

How do I get a quote?

DRBI helps you cut the time and effort required to get a shipping quote. We feature thousands of providers so that you can shop the best rates all in one place. Carriers compete for your business, giving you transparent quotes to help you make an informed decision. Our open logistics marketplace means you get the best rates possible on your shipment.

How does cargo insurance work?

We provide high-quality cargo insurance at affordable rates through reliable third-party providers. Most customers can purchase this insurance right in our logistics marketplace during checkout. Our Ship with Confidence Guarantee means we’ve got your back if you experience payment disputes or items that don’t arrive as expected. We offer payments up to AED500 per incident.*

Unlike motor truck cargo or carrier's liability insurance, our cargo insurance provides coverage for direct physical loss or damage. This means a faster payout directly to you and no need to deal with the service provider’s insurance company.
Shipments booked with LTL Instant Rate Carriers will be subject to the carrier's Limitation of Liability in the event of damage or loss. If your shipment requires additional coverage, we offer affordable LTL Cargo Insurance you can purchase at checkout.

How much does DERBI Cargo Insurance cost?

Your premium depends on the insurance value upon booking. The price will be displayed at that time.

What’s NOT covered?

Geographical limits for concealed damages/losses not noted on the signed delivery receipt:

Shipments to/from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, and truck/rail shipments to/from/within Mexico other than a connecting conveyance are excluded entirely.

Coverage for shipments to Haiti, Nigeria, Pakistan, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) ceases upon discharge from the ocean vessel or aircraft.

Category restrictions include but are not limited to: used engines/motors/transmissions, live animals, furs, cash, notes, stamps, deeds, tickets, traveler’s checks, jewelry, watches, or similar valuable articles, and trailer shipments.

How do I make a payment?

We make it safe and easy to pay your carrier without sharing bank account or card details. This process also makes cancellations and refunds easier. As the customer, you enjoy full control over payment. Your funds are only released to the transporter once you’ve confirmed safe delivery.

What support do you provide?

Both customers and transporters are backed by our seasoned Member Support and Trust & Safety teams. Our workers are ready to assist before, during, and after your shipment, ensuring every dxco_derive experience is safe and successful. You also have the support of our network of thousands of transporters who are available to help in case of truck breakdowns or scheduling conflicts.

Do I have to commit to view rates?

You can shop rates on dxco_derive’s multi-carrier shipping platform with no commitment. See the profiles of transporters you’re considering and review feedback from past customers before selecting your service. There is also no charge for canceling a listing. You can list ahead of time, shop around, and choose the right transporter based on the factors that matter to you.

Should I verify credentials when making a booking?

Yes. Request insurance information, copies of driver's licenses, and any legal registration before releasing your shipment to a service provider.

How can I keep my payments safe?

If paying by deposit, you’ll want to use a major credit card or a third-party payment system like PayPal. This provides you with additional safeguards and recourse in the event of a dispute or suspected fraudulent activity. Check with your credit card company for more information.
DRBI does not recommend paying off-site in-full before delivery. If a provider requests full payment before pickup, please contact Member Support.

Do you accept all payment types?

For security reasons, no. Requesting payment from instant cash transfer services such as Western Union or Moneygram is prohibited on dxco_derive. When using these services, you can’t confirm who the receiving party is and can’t get the funds back once sent. Contact Member Support immediately if your provider requests a prohibited payment method.

After the shipment is booked, you and your provider should always execute a written contract outlining the agreement details.

What documents do I need?

We provide a standard bill of lading (BOL) for any shipment. Your service provider may also have their own BOL. This is a receipt that documents the state of a shipment at pickup and delivery so that the provider can be held accountable for damages occurring in transit.

How do I choose a transporter?

Transporter profiles list previous customer feedback. All feedback is from customers that have previously booked that transporter on dxco_derive. We recommend reading the comments and paying attention to the deliveries the transporter has experience hauling.

Note any cancellation comments and see how often that transporter has had to cancel. Remember that some cancellations may be from the customer's side. If your delivery is time-sensitive, you might want to consider transporters with fewer cancellations.

If you feel something is too good to be true, you might be right. Don't release anything to a provider until all inconsistencies are resolved.

How do I choose the right price

You’ve come to dxco_derive’s online shipping platform to find the best deals, but while the lowest prices are tempting, they may not always be the best choice for you. Are you willing to pay a bit more for a better timeline or a more experienced transporter? Consider price as a part of the equation, but not the only factor.
