Community Guidelines

We contribute to human progress at The Moda App by enabling people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together. We created these community guidelines to support our mission by encouraging the broadest range of self-expression, while making sure users can use our services safely every day. We want these guidelines to be clear and understandable to everyone in our community.

These Guidelines apply to all content (including text, images, links or attachments, emojis, and creative tools) on The Moda App and to all users equally. Discover advertisers and media partners agree to additional guidelines, such as the requirement that their content be accurate and, where appropriate, fact-checked. We will not take action against content that is newsworthy, factual, and relates to a matter of political, social, or other general concern to our community in some cases.

Sexually Explicit Content

  • Accounts that promote or distribute pornographic content are prohibited.
  • All cases of child sexual exploitation are reported to the authorities. Never, ever, ever post, save, or send nude or sexually explicit content involving anyone under the age of 18—including yourself. Never ask a minor to send sexually explicit content.
  • Breastfeeding and other depictions of nudity may be permitted in certain non-sexual contexts.

Harassment & Bullying

  • We do not tolerate any form of bullying or harassment. You may not contact someone who has blocked you using another account.
  • Sharing another person's private information and the locations of people in private spaces—like a bathroom, bedroom, locker room, or medical facility—without their knowledge and consent is not allowed.
  • If someone asks you to remove a picture from your The Moda App, please do so! Respect others' privacy rights.

Threats, Violence & Harm

  • Encouraging violence or dangerous behaviour is prohibited; never intimidate or threaten to harm a person, a group of people, or someone's property.
  • Gratuitous or graphic violence, including animal abuse, is not permitted in the Moda app.
  • We don't like it when people praise self-harm or promote self-injury, suicide, or eating disorders.

Impersonation, Deceptive Practices & False Information

  • We prohibit pretending to be someone (or something) that you're not, or attempting to deceive people about who you are. Impersonating friends, celebrities, brands, or other organisations is one example.
  • We don't let people spread false information that hurts people or is malicious, like denying that terrible things happened, making medical claims that can't be proven, undermining the integrity of democratic processes, or changing content to be false or misleading.
  • We do not tolerate spam or deceptive practices, including impersonating The Moda App Inc.

Illegal Activity

  • Use The Moda App for no illegal purpose, including promoting criminal activity, facilitating or participating in cybercrime, or purchasing, selling, or facilitating the sale of illegal or regulated drugs, contraband, weapons, or counterfeit goods or documents.
  • We don't let people advertise illegal goods or businesses, like gambling, tobacco, or alcohol.

Terrorism, Hate Groups, and Hate Speech

  • Terrorists, extremists, and hate groups are not permitted to use our platform. We will not tolerate content that promotes or advocates violent extremism or terrorism.
  • Hate speech or content that denigrates, defames, or promotes discrimination or violence based on race, colour, caste, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran status, immigration status, socioeconomic status, age, weight, or pregnancy status is prohibited.

Please keep in mind that you can always file a report with our Trust & Safety team by using our in-app reporting feature or by filling out this form. We review these reports to determine violations of these guidelines.

If you violate these community guidelines, we may remove the offending content, suspend or restrict your account's visibility, and/or notify law enforcement. When activity threatens human life, we work with global law enforcement. If your account is terminated for violating our Terms of Service or these Guidelines, you are not permitted to use The Moda App again.

The Moda App reserves the right to remove users who, in our sole discretion, pose a clear and present danger to others, whether on or off The Moda App. These include leaders of hate groups and terrorist organisations, as well as individuals with a history of inciting violence or engaging in behaviour that we believe endangers human life.

Please take these guidelines seriously and follow them in the spirit intended.
